OH POOH! 

Friday's get together is not going to happen....BUT we will meet again next Friday!  Have a great weekend all!

Making progress!

The beach scenes are looking fantastic!

Bonnie and Deb kept working on their paintings today while Ruth Lee got started on hers.  

We sure did miss Jacque and Helen but we know they are happy to be visiting their families and we can't blame them for that!

Art makes for fun friendships!

Before moving on to show the beautiful art works the codgers have created this week, there has to be some note made as to the fun we have!!!!

Paints are in!

We had a fun time Friday...moving on to larger canvases to paint a seascape.  They are so PRETTY!

Deb's and Jacque's easels are very cool and we all oooed and ahhhed as new things about both were discovered.  A little intro to paint mixing was done and the first layers on the canvas look pretty impressive!

We missed Ruth Lee but KNOW she is loving those Grandsons being here.  We also missed Helen but how can this group compete with that little precious Grand-Princess?!?!?!

Thanks to Jacque, AGAIN, for the snacks...Donuts, Cheesecake and fruit!!! YUM!

Next week we will keep working on the beach scenes and then we will head over to MARKER 8.5 in Goodland for Bonnie's birthday lunch.

In a few weeks, lets plan on painting some at Deb's house since she has offered it to us.  Maybe after we are sure everyone has supplies....thanks Deb!

Funky Flowers

Our shopping experience last week was helpful, even though the proprietor and the shop in Naples was less than hoped for.  Thank goodness for AMAZON!  New tubes of paints and playing around with mixing of colors....that is what makes oils fun.  Not to mention that a few of us now have paint on some clothes....now we will know what to wear every Friday!

SO glad Bonnie was back....she played with her water lilies a little more as the rest of us worked on the flower masterpieces we started last week.  Looking great, I think!!!!  It's fun to compare them to last week. :)
