October has been busy!

We have had some fun this month!
Lots of painting, good eating, and even some completed paintings!
We also have had some changes...members leaving us because they just don't have the time to participate and new members who are excited to start their painting adventure.

Dottie is battling Cancer and is still up north...she has given up her active spot in the group but is still a Codger and will join us when she is feeling up to it! Our hearts are with you sweet lady!

Luisa was traveling this fall so just couldn't get started with us...best wishes for her as she spends time with her Dad and continues to do such a great job as Newcomers Historian.

Ruth Lee has decided to spend her Fridays doing volunteer work so we will miss her smiling face!
She did complete her painting of the view from her balcony and it is beautiful!!!

Our newest members are Pat Molloy and Pam Clune.
Pat will be joining us mid-November but
Pam has been here two weeks and is making great progress on her beach scene.
Welcome!

Deb's painting is also complete and ready to be framed....we have loved
watching the progress she has made.
Here are the last three weeks....that tree is just beautiful!

Bonnie's fences and grasses have become more defined and beautiful each week.
HER CLOUDS are amazing...we must find that "you tube" video she watched!

It took Jacque some time before she decided on the composition but now she is moving along.
It will be fun to see what she adds next week!

Helen has been obsessed with "unidentified" flying objects but now has decided to add
some indigenous birds to her sky...stay tuned!
The little sandpipers are adorable!  Nice job!

You all are amazing...
Thank you so much for sharing your Friday Mornings with the group.

One other piece of news that happened in October....my painting,
Tranquil Tempest
was accepted into the juried show at the
Marco Island Center for the Arts.
I cannot Thank You enough for the love and support you gave me....
Your words of encouragement were the reason I had the courage to enter.
I love being a CODGER!
